·         Some recent personal experiences, along with the views of the Parents 4 Change group have raised his own awareness around the issues faced by disabled people and their carers.

·         Committed to supporting the Parents 4 Change process and will do all that he can within his power to safeguard funds to ensure the sustainability of the group beyond March 2011 when the Aiming High Participation grant will come to an end.

·         Would like the group to regularly contact him with achievable tasks that they would like him to look into.

·         Wanted to congratulate all the parents involved in the process for their commitment and for the many achievements the group have facilitated already.
